The Church of Saint Isidore, in Marco de Canaveses, will undergo conservation works promoted by the Route of the Romanesque.

The conservation work, with a 180-day lead time, will focus on the roofs, walls, openings, floors and ceilings of the Church, and enhancement of the churchyard.

These intervention involved a total investment of 162,000 euros, 85% co-financed by the 2014/2020 Regional Operational Program for Northern Portugal (Norte 2020) through the European Regional Development Fund, and 15% by the Municipality of Marco de Canaveses, within the scope of "Route of the Romanesque: Heritage, Culture and Tourism – Tâmega " operation presented by the Association of Municipalities of Baixo Tâmega.
